Herbal Toning Lotion
2 tbsps. witch hazel
1 tbsp. fresh lemon juice, strained
2 tbsps. rose water, or other herb water
Pour all ingredients into a scalded bottle and mix thoroughly. Label and store in a cool place. This lotion is acidic. If your skin feels dry and stretched after using it, reduce the amount of lemon juice to 1 tsp; if that doesn't solve the problem, reduce the witch hazel. Smooth an a light moisturizer as a final step in your cleansing routine.
