A skin toning lotion for sensitive skin
7 ounces floral water or herbal infusion (chamomile or lavender)
1 ounce cider vinegar
Make an herbal infusion of chamomile or lavender flowers by pouring near-boiling water over 2 to 3 tablespoons of fresh or dried flower tops. Alternatively, you can purchase pure floral water of the same type to make this recipe. Simply add 1 ounce, or 2 tablespoons, of cider vinegar and mix well. Pour this lotion into a spray bottle or mister for easy application. Use daily after cleansing the skin.

Echinacea (Echinacea spp.): Several compounds in the coneflower -- including caffeic acid, chlorogenic acid, and cichoric acid -- have been shown in studies to diminish the destruction of collagen, the protein that keeps skin elastic. Many commerical lotions and
ointments contain echinacea, but you can also apply echinacea tea directly to your skin.
