The Aztecs used this medicine as an enema, using syringes made from the bladders of animals and small birds. They attached the bladders to hollow reeds or to hollowed out bird legs. But you can get the same results by drinking agave sap mixed with warm water.

Mixed with Garlic Powder, and Plantain Powder and used as a forced drench (decoction in a soda bottle, force-fed to an animal), it has been know to cure Distemper in animals when supposedly past the time of helping.
