During the summer months, the Acme Ajax Picture Theatre did a terrific business. But when January came around, the proprietor noticed a big fall-off in business. The whole thing puzzled him. The other picture houses were doing business--why not his? Maybe there was something wrong with the ushers-maybe it was the box office girl-what was wrong in his theatre that was keeping the customers away?
He soon found out on one bitter, January day. Walking in front of the theatre he saw a sign that nearly made him keel over-the sign still hanging there read: "Forty degrees cooler inside than on the street."
How can you put on a meaningful drama when, every fifteen minutes, proceedings are interrupted by twelve dancing rabbits with toilet paper?
