Lavender oil is an excellent remedy for mosquito bites or bee stings, and if you make some now, it'll be good for the next six months, taking you through spring and summer bites and stings. Cover two cups of finely chopped lavender flowers with olive oil or vegetable oil. Heat this gently but do not let it come to a boil. When it's heated through and fragrant, remove from the heat, let it steep for 15 minutes, then strain the mixture and store it in a sealed dark bottle.

Dab a little of this oil on your bite or sting to promote quick healing and to take away the swelling and itching.
Lavender Oil for Bug Bites
A handful of pine-seed will cover mountains with the green majesty of a forest.  I too will set my face to the wind and throw my handful of seed on high.

Dab tea tree (with Q-tip) on mosquito bites. We've had phenomenal success with a number of people who get welts from the bites. Not only does it relive the itching, but the welt goes away!
