Relaxing Herbal Bath Tea Bags
A relaxing herbal bath can be as simple as adding a few
commercial tea bags to the water. Some people like to
steep the bags in boiling water first, then add them to
the bath. Others use very hot tap water, add the tea
bags, and get in when the water has cooled to a
comfortable temperature. To make your own bath teas,
try this recipe, experimenting with other ingredients
of your choice. Make a cheese cloth bag by sewing a
folded packet, or simply use a twist tie or a piece of
string to close the bag.

1/2 c. grated fresh gingerroot
1 tbsps one or more of the following dried (unless
otherwise indicated) herbs:
lemon verbena              lemon balm
rosemary sprigs           sweet majoram
any of the mints            grated goldenseal root
chamomile                      plantain leaves
lavender

Combine the gingerrot and herbs. Insert the ingredients
in the bag and add to your bath. Bath tea bags should be  used only once. If you make them as gifts, be sure to
include a label identifying the herbs you have used so
that the recipient can beware of any skin sensitivies.
