Old World Mineral Bath Salts
And when the work is all done and you need to reward and comfort
yourself, pour a tall glass of chilled sparkling mineral water with a
splash of fresh lime juice. Fill the air with sounds of Mozart or
Chopin. Slip into a tub of warm water, lit with candles and charged
with some of the same ingredients you've used on your house!
This time create an Old World Mineral Waters Spa to relax and soothe.
Soak for at least 20 minutes and let your conscious mind drift and
refresh with the scents of your bath. Like an expensive European spa,
you will find your bath will give you a sense of well being. When you
are ready to get out, rub your skin with a loofah, but no soap. Air
dry if you can. Then slip between your lavender scented sheets.
Mix together in a bowl ½ cup borax and ¼ cup sea salt or Dead Sea
salt. Then carefully stir in 5 drops sage essential oil, 5 drops
rosemary essential oil and 10 drops pine balsam essential oil. Be sure
it's well mixed and tightly sealed if you are storing it before use.
Add the entire amount to the running water and stir the tub with your
hand to be sure the salt has dissolved.
"All you need do is just see when you look, just hear when you listen."
Three Pillars of Zen
Arrowroot, known as pia, is part of the tavva family. Its tubers are used as food and in medicine. A carbohydrate, arrowroot is used as in ingredient in a coconut milk drink or steamed and used in the dessert called haupia. The tuber is usually grated. As medicine, the starchy tubers are pounded with iron-enriched red clay, then eaten raw for dysentery symptoms.
